Hello guys!
Today i'm going to be talking about the different kinds of questions that are asked in quizzing, and their quizzers, and some tips for each one. But i am going to split it up into two posts, since it will be a long one. GENERAL QUESTIONS General questions are the simple who, what, when, where, how, etc. questions that anyone can jump on and most of the time get right. At the more competitive quizzes, however, when they are jumping on just a word or two, they can become extremely difficult to answer, as you can imagine. These quizzers usually still memorize all of the material. In general questions you can give information from the section that the question only, and no more-section meaning, paragraph header. Multiples on these can be very difficult, because you pretty much just have to chose a section if you don't get a unique word in before you jump, and then there are possibly hundreds of questions that you could ask, if you actually get the right section by chance. Some tips for these questions;
QUOTE, FINISH, AND REFERENCE QUESTIONS All of the different types of memory questions are all obviously over the same eighty-six memory verses. Some of these are easier for other people than others, for example, i like just having to finish the verse, not having to give the reference as well. It's not because i'm lazy-even though i can be sometimes-it's because it's just another chance to me to get it wrong. I really don't like saying that, but it's just true. But all of them just require you to quote the verse in one way or another, and give the reference in one of the types. Pre-jumping on these question can be very tricky as well. On Quote questions, you could just get a "twenty-" and you don't know which one to do if there are two or more memory verses in twenty like in Acts 2. Finish, you have to really try to get the unique part in, or you just have to guess, or you can use some other method to get the question right. I myself have not been a memory quizzer in total, so i can't give you much information on them, or good strategies, because i don't want to give you bad information. And Reference questions are pretty much the same as Finish questions, but you really need to know the verses and their references inside, outside, upside, and downside-and you should probably throw and diagonal-side in there some how if you can :-P. Here's some things that i do know, though;
Well, i know that was fairly short, but the second part of this post will be coming up very soon, so stay tuned! Thank you for reading! Keep calm and quiz on (and out) -Your fellow quizzer
