If you're like me, then you've probably had to go though some readjustments throughout the season of quizzing, maybe even this early in the year. For me, it typically happens when I'm not pleased with my performance, and I know I can do better. Having to readjust isn't a bad thing, it helps you grow and become a better quizzer. However, too many readjustments could lead to a burn out, but that's not what we're going to be talking about today. I'm always making some kind of change to my routine, just to keep it fresh, but implementing an adjustment like I'm talking about, takes a lot more effort, but also has much more profitable results. These are some things that you should probably steer clear of, when making adjustments to your quizzing:
Making adjustments should be an inspiring and motivating process for you, and only serve to make you better, and look forward, and not condemning or beating yourself up about how you've done previously. Here's some things to keep in mind when you're making adjustments:
Picture readjustments like a sigh; a psychological reset of the brain, a sunrise, or something like that. A new beginning, or an extra push in the right direction, your second wind, etc. I believe in us, we can do it ;) Looking forward to seeing everybody at the next quiz, but until then...
