Greetings, my wonderful friends!
Goodness, isn't this life God has given us amazing? Just look around you! Look at the inspiring nature He's created! It takes my breath away, and simply leaves me praising Him for how good He is to me. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! Well guys, I know that I've already done several posts about studying, and how I like to do it, but I think now that I've had another half-season under my belt, I'll be able to give you some better advice :-) That's one great thing about having a blog about something that you're currently doing, not just done, because you're always learning new things and are able to share that with people as you learn them! You just keep growing! So anyways, here's a few tips about studying, that really help me, and that I really enjoy!
That's just a couple of things I've learned from my past two (and a beginning) seasons of quizzing study. I really hope these things will help you too! But really, no matter what I say, you need to find out what works for you, and what helps you study the best. And the only way to do that, is to study a lot, and to experiment with different techniques, even if you're doubtful. And don't give up on something if you've only tried it once, give it a week, and see if anything changes. It might be helping in a way you don't see immediately. Above all, we need to not only study the Word for knowledge that we will use to compete, but we NEED to really let the Word impact us. Listen with your heart, not only you head. Let the Lord speak to you through the words that He inspired to be written. If you really start to get in the Word to learn things not only for quizzing, but to help you grow spiritually, it will change you life. It'll transform you from the inside out. You'll start to see a difference in every aspect of your life - financially, emotionally, the way you think, your relationships with people, the way you react to things, everything will begin to transform because in Christ, we are new creatures. But none of that transformation happens without us getting into the word, and meditating on it day and night (Joshua 1:8). Meditating is not an eastern religious thing that you sit cross legged and say "ummmm" when we are saying this, it simply means thinking about the Word, and God constantly, having dreams about it at night, because you think about it so much. Okay, I'm done ranting :-) Happy quizzing, and have a fantastic day tomorrow! Thank you for reading! Your fellow quizzer, Mallory
